Sin is not allowed into heaven. Therefore, we are to love the sinner but to hate the sin; simply because it will prevent that person from eternal salvation!<br><br>Teach in love, but teach in truthfulness. Don't try to soften the truth if you care about that person. Don't hate, EVER; love them but stand by the whole word when you witness! Give them the scripture to study it themselves, make no judgements of them as a person...we have all sinned. <br><br>What is IMPORTANT is that when we ask God to forgive our sins AND we turn things around and make a commitment to live according to his word...he saves us and gives us eternal life with him in Heaven.
